Air Himalayas reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel, advance, reschedule, over-fly or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight or alter the stopping place or places or to deviate from the route of the journey or to change the type of aircraft in use without thereby incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. The company reserves to itself the right to refuse to carry any person who it considers unfit for travel or what in opinion of the company may constitute risks to the aircraft or to the persons on board.

The travel document issues by the company shall be subject to the rules of cancellation as follows:

Flight cancelled by Air Himalayas – Full fare refunded.

Up to 48 hours before flight departure time – 90% of the total fare refunded.

25 to 47 hours before flight departure time – 70% of the total fare refunded.

24 hours or less, up to 01 hours before flight departure time – 50% of the total fare refunded.

Less than one hour before flight time shall be treated as “No Show” – No refund shall be allowed.

In the event of death of passenger or any bodily injury or wound suffered which results in permanent disablement incapacitating him from engaging in or being occupied with his / her usual duties or business or occupation, the liability of the carrier for each passenger shall be INR 7,50,000/- and the cause of death or bodily injury, as the case may be, is attributable to the air travel, the liability of the carrier shall be subject to provisions of Carriage by Air Act 1934.

If the flight cancelled due to technical / bad weather / other unforeseen reasons full refund of the ticket would be accorded. No accommodation, meals or cost of surface transport would be paid neither any such cost would be reimbursed or compensated.

In the event of any dispute, claim, question, or disagreement arising or the breach thereof, then such dispute will be resolved by arbitration under the laws of India and the Jurisdiction of competent court Himachal Pradesh.

Passengers are requested to report at the departure heliport one hour before the notified departure time of the flight. Passengers reporting beyond these timings shall be treated as ‘NO SHOW’ passengers and the company reserves the right to allot the seat to other passengers.

Infants below 2 years of age will be carried free of cost. However, infants will be carried in the lap of the accompanying adult. In case of dispute regarding age of infant, valid proof of age shall be the deciding factor.

Senior citizens, patients, VIPs, ladies, children, physically handicapped persons or any other person sponsored by Government Authorities for priority heli lift will be accorded priority over all other passengers.

All passengers will be required to produce their valid photo identity proof at the time of check-in.

Advance booked passengers will have priority over spot booked passengers.

Passengers are requested to follow all the safety instructions given at the helipad.

Check-in baggage allowed for helicopter travel for Adult is 05 Kgs per head, Cabin baggage and excess baggage are not allowed in helicopter flight.
